According to the MFA spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi, the Consul General of Ukraine in Krakow went to the airport to resolve the situation. Tykhyi emphasized that Ukraine does not accept such treatment of its citizen and champion.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha addressed his Polish counterpart, demanding an immediate resolution of the situation. He also instructed the Consul General to express protest and indignation regarding the treatment of the Ukrainian citizen.
