Zelensky announced a decision regarding the army and law enforcement system: what will change.
According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced his intentions to change the law enforcement system in the regions and address issues in the army.
Rebooting the law enforcement system
In his evening address, he noted that the Security Service of Ukraine has been tasked with analyzing the situation in the law enforcement structures of the regions.
«Soon there will be reports, there will be my conclusions, and there will be decisions. There is too much negativity from the regions. We agreed that the Security Service will provide me with information quickly,»
— Zelensky reported.
Problems in the army
The President also emphasized the existing problems in the army, which, in his opinion, «should have been resolved long ago.»
«The Commander-in-Chief, the General Staff, and [Deputy Head of the President's Office] Pavlo Palisa are already working on this, and next week I will prepare the appropriate Staff. First and foremost, there should be a truly fair, rational distribution of personnel among the brigades. The principles of how to do this are already in place, and this is being discussed in every combat brigade. There will be a decision,»
— the president noted.
Dismissal of Andriy Yermak
It has also become known that the president signed a decree to dismiss Andriy Yermak from the position of head of the President's Office.
This step followed the authorized searches conducted by NABU and SAP at Yermak's house as part of a criminal investigation.
These changes indicate the president's intentions to implement serious reforms in key areas of state management. The results of the analysis of law enforcement structures and the resolution of problems in the army could significantly impact their effectiveness and public trust. It is expected that the president's further decisions will help stop negative trends in these important areas.
