Zelensky is developing a plan for peace in Ukraine
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that a plan of action is being created to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine. The President claims that the plan will be ready quickly and will soon be presented to the public.
The decision to create the plan was made during a summit in London aimed at strengthening the state and ensuring security. Zelensky emphasized the importance of considering the positions of all countries in this plan.
The President held talks with European leaders regarding the details of the initiative. He met with the Prime Ministers of Portugal, Slovenia, and the Netherlands. 'Europe must be present in the discussions about peace along with Ukraine and the USA and have a common vision for ending the war and ensuring security,' Zelensky stressed.
The President emphasized the importance of international unity: 'The unity of Europe and the leadership of America can ultimately end this war.'
During the talks, further support for Ukraine was also discussed. Zelensky reported that the Netherlands is preparing new packages of military and financial assistance, and Slovenia has joined the initiative 'Food from Ukraine' to provide aid to the Syrian people.
Earlier, the President discussed the architecture of security and strengthening Ukraine’s air defense with Scholz.
