Zelensky announced changes in the diplomatic corps and reported on the figures of 'eSupport'.
Changes in the Diplomatic Corps
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of significant changes in the country's diplomatic corps, which will be presented in a week and a half. He stated this in his evening address.
'Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Kuleba, we are preparing to make changes in the diplomatic corps very soon. We will present them in a week and a half,' the head of state noted, adding that interviews with candidates for the positions of Ukrainian ambassadors are currently ongoing.
Work with the Prime Minister of Spain
The President also discussed with the Prime Minister of Spain issues of European unity and thanked him for support in strengthening Ukraine's air defense. 'We will continue our work this week and next week to strengthen our common European positions and help all of us restore security for Ukraine and all of Europe,' Zelensky emphasized.
Successful 'eSupport' Program
A particular focus in the address was given to the 'eSupport' program. According to the President, nearly 6.5 million Ukrainians have already applied to participate in the program, of which 1.6 million are applications for children. Almost half of the funds disbursed by citizens have been spent on utility services, with a significant portion directed to support volunteer funds.
The 'eSupport' program will operate for three winter months for submitting applications, and the funds can be spent throughout the next year.
