According to ТСН: Ten energy workers from DTEK received state awards from President Volodymyr Zelensky for their important work in restoring power supply after the attacks.

According to the company, the awards were presented on December 22, the day of the professional holiday of Ukrainian energy workers.

DTEK emphasized that these awards are a recognition of the daily work of those who care for the restoration and protection of the energy system amid attacks, in frontline areas, and in difficult situations.

“Currently, there is no power plant in Ukraine that has not suffered from Russian attacks. All living Ukrainian energy facilities, our entire living energy network – this is what thousands of our employees in the energy sector have been able to protect, restore, and build,” emphasized President Volodymyr Zelensky, honoring the energy workers.

Additionally, one specialist received thanks from the Prime Minister, nine received honorable mentions from the Cabinet of Ministers, and 188 energy workers were awarded certificates and letters of thanks from the Ministry of Energy.

The significance of this event underscores how energy workers overcome challenges in times of crisis and maintain the stability of power supply in the country. The efforts of Ukrainian energy workers deserve recognition, as their work is vital for Ukrainian society in these challenging times.
