Ukraine Imposed Sanctions Against Rosneft and Lukoil: Details of the Decision.
According to ТСН: Ukraine coordinated its sanctions with the USA and imposed restrictions against the company "Rosneft", as well as enterprises controlled by the "Lukoil" group. These sanctions have already significantly impacted the finances of the Russian military machine, and this process should continue.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country would also impose sanctions against Russian military personnel who attack Ukrainians using drones. He described this as "systematic destruction".
"We will make these sanctions practically joint with partners, so that the world puts pressure on the aggressor exactly as needed to weaken the Russian military capability to fight, and so that Russian killers truly feel that there is pressure," the statement says.
Key Priorities of the Sanctions Policy
Zelensky also highlighted the main directions of the sanctions policy until the end of the year:
further synchronization of sanctions with partners;
preparation of the 20th EU sanctions package;
strengthening restrictions against the shadow fleet;
sanctions against Russian military production, collaborators, and propagandists.
New sanctions measures will be announced soon. Earlier, Zelensky announced new sanctions.
"Our sanctions, which we will do in fact together with our partners, so that the world puts pressure on the aggressor exactly as needed to weaken the Russian military capability to fight," he noted.
The introduction of new sanctions is an important step in the international context, as they aim to intensify pressure on Russian aggression against Ukraine. The joint actions of Ukraine and its partners demonstrate a commitment to a long-lasting struggle for the restoration of peace and stability in the region. Further steps in the sanctions policy, especially regarding the shadow fleet and military production, indicate the seriousness of the intentions of the Ukrainian authorities in this matter.
