According to inkorr.com: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the current situation on the front, announcing the losses of Russian troops and new strikes on the territory of Russia. In his Telegram channel, he noted that Russian forces are actively operating in the Pokrovsk direction, suffering significant losses. Zelensky also emphasized the successful actions of Ukrainian troops in Donetsk, where the enemy has lost over 290,000 fighters in eight months this year.
The President confirmed readiness for new actions and planning new deep strikes.
Losses of Russian troops
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the year, the Russian army has lost over 210,000 soldiers, killed and wounded, in battles in Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk. The total losses of the enemy since 2025 exceed 291,000 persons, while Ukrainian forces have destroyed or damaged a significant amount of military equipment and assets.
