Zelensky explained why Ukraine should help Syria.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposes to help Syria prevent a food crisis through the humanitarian program 'Grain from Ukraine'. He ordered the government to set up food supplies together with international organizations and partners to alleviate the situation in the country. Zelensky called on other countries to join the efforts to stabilize the situation and end the war in Syria. He explained that this would help Ukraine gain greater international support in establishing peace in the region.
It is worth noting that in Syria, rebels captured Damascus and announced the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime, which had been in power for nearly a quarter of a century.
The rupture in cooperation between Russia and Syria was also a result of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's refusal to send Syrian mercenaries from the occupied territories of Ukraine to support Bashar al-Assad's regular army.
Later it became known that Ukrainian intelligence sent drone operators and drones to the rebels in Syria.
The United States is also considering the possibility of excluding the group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' from the list of terrorist organizations. These fighters were key in overthrowing Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria, and the Syrian opposition has already entered Damascus and changed the regime.
