The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that there are 11 thousand North Korean troops in Russia, but this number could grow to 100 thousand. This was reported by Reuters.
Currently, Putin has pulled 11 thousand North Korean soldiers to the borders of Ukraine. This contingent may increase to 100 thousand people
The Russian army has been accumulating forces for several months for a future counter-offensive and to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Russian territory. However, the current number of Russian military formations in the Kursk region is not critical, reports the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The Russian president, Volodymyr Putin, is trying to reclaim the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump, that is, by January 20.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to capture many occupiers and take out a significant amount of Russian equipment from the Kursk region thanks to the operation carried out.
The U.S. Department of Defense reported that North Korea has sent over 11 thousand soldiers to the Kursk region to participate in combat on the side of Russia against Ukraine.
