President's Concern Over Potential U.S.-Russia Agreements

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has voiced serious concerns about the potential signing of documents between the United States and Russia concerning an economic cooperation package valued at approximately $12 trillion. Speaking on February 7, he stressed that Ukraine will not support any decisions made without its direct involvement. This stance reflects Kyiv's determination to protect its interests amid complex geopolitical maneuvering between major powers.

Zelenskyy stated he had received intelligence about a so-called 'Dmitriev package' that was reportedly presented in the United States.

"For instance, intelligence showed me the so-called 'Dmitriev package,' which he presented in the U.S. — it involves a volume of about $12 trillion. It is supposedly a package of economic cooperation between America and Russia," the president said.

The Ukrainian leader made it unequivocally clear that his country would not endorse any agreements that might be concluded by other parties without its participation.

"We clearly indicate that Ukraine will not support even potential such agreements by parties about us without us," he added.
These comments underscore Ukraine's firm position on the necessity of its inclusion in international agreements affecting regional economic cooperation and security.

The Critical Importance of Ukraine's Role in International Negotiations

President Zelenskyy's statement highlights the vital importance of Ukraine's participation in international negotiations, particularly those involving major global powers. Excluding Ukraine from potential deals could threaten its economic interests and national sovereignty. It also signals that Ukraine insists on being an active participant in international dialogue, a crucial stance given the ongoing geopolitical tensions stemming from Russia's full-scale invasion.
