According to TSN.ua: In his nightly address on February 26, 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a new round of trilateral talks is likely to be held in early March 2024 in Abu Dhabi. He stressed that the primary goal of this meeting is to finalize crucial security agreements. This potential meeting underscores the ongoing international diplomatic push to resolve the conflict.

Zelenskyy stated that consultations for these talks have involved:

  • Defense Minister Rustem Umerov,
  • Head of the parliamentary faction David Arakhamia,
  • Representatives of the US President, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
"The next meeting will most likely be in the Emirates, specifically in Abu Dhabi," noted Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President emphasized that ending the war is an urgent necessity, a position he says is shared not only by Ukraine but by all its international partners. He asserted that global sanctions must be leveraged to achieve a "genuine and lasting peace."
