Zelensky commented on Russian attacks in the Pokrovske and Kursk directions.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the state of the war, summarizing its outcomes.
According to Zelensky, he met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Syrsky, and learned about the situation at the front and the progress of the "Kursk operation." The President noted successes in the Pokrovske direction but emphasized the difficult situation in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
"Overall, the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia direction are very challenging conditions, the enemy's actions are harsh. But the resilience of our units is crucial. Everything depends on our resilience," stressed Zelensky.
The President also mentioned new agreements on weapon supply and production, reached during his overseas visits. He noted that the Ukrainian industrial base is capable of producing more weapons than Ukrainian financial resources allow.
"Our industrial base is capable of producing significantly more drones, more shells, combat equipment than the financial capacities of our state allow," noted the President.
In addition, Zelensky highlighted the merits of the National Guard of Ukraine and thanked chaplains for supporting soldiers on the front line.
"I thank everyone who strengthens Ukraine! And only on strong positions will we achieve true, just peace. Glory to Ukraine!" concluded President Zelensky in his address.
