Zelensky on appointment in the Office of the President: decisions to be made after additional consultations.
According to ТСН: Currently, the decision regarding new personnel changes in the Office of the President (OP) will be made after additional consultations.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a joint press briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
"There will be no sensational news today. I want to conduct additional consultations. I have planned them after returning to Ukraine. My choice depends on some things, to be honest, on the direction of management, and we focus on diplomacy, other directions that are very important. Undoubtedly, we have very worthy people in Ukraine. I think you will see this," said Zelensky.
We remind that Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President, submitted a resignation letter. President Zelensky signed a decree to dismiss Yermak.
This decision became known after the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) confirmed that it was conducting searches at Yermak's place on November 28.
Yermak himself confirmed this information and emphasized that he would assist the NABU’s investigative actions, but did not specify which case law enforcement officers are working on.
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, commented on Yermak's resignation, stating that it is a typical democratic practice.
The situation surrounding Yermak's resignation has sparked a wide resonance in society, especially against the backdrop of NABU's active actions. Experts believe that these events may reflect on the future politics of the presidential team. It remains to be hoped that new personnel decisions will contribute to the more effective work of the Office of the President in the current challenges.
