Zelensky sums up the 936th day of the war and talks about the 'Victory Plan'
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address on September 16, 2024, summed up the 936th day of the war. The main topic of the address was military issues and the preparation of the Ukrainian 'Victory Plan'.
Zelensky reported over 100 battles in a day, with the highest intensity on the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions. The President thanked the military for their resilience and signed decrees awarding participants of the Kursk operation.
At the meeting of the Stavka, issues of protecting energy facilities and the situation in the Russian army were discussed. Zelensky emphasized the importance of worsening the perception of the war among the Russian population.
Special attention was paid to providing the Ukrainian army with drones, which was called a 'strategic priority'.
The President also announced the preparation of the Ukrainian 'Victory Plan', which is 90% developed. The plan covers military, political, diplomatic, and economic aspects. Zelensky stated that this document 'can ensure the correct development of the situation not only for Ukraine but also for everyone in the world who values international law'. The presentation of the plan to allies is scheduled for next week.
