Zelensky proposed a new Prime Minister — what is known.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted a draft resolution to the Verkhovna Rada on the appointment of a new Prime Minister. The candidate is Yulia Sviridenko.
MP Oleksandr Kachura reported this on Telegram on Wednesday, July 16.
The candidacy of Sviridenko for the position of Prime Minister
'A submission from the President of Ukraine regarding the appointment of Yulia Sviridenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine has been received by the Verkhovna Rada',
According to the MP, the Committee on State Power Organization will consider it on Thursday morning.
Personnel changes in the government
Denys Shmyhal held the position for a record term during the independence of Ukraine — over five years.
When the parliament approved his dismissal, the entire Cabinet of Ministers automatically resigned.
Recall that the Rada dismissed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and his government.
And the head of the 'Servant of the People' faction, Davyd Arakhamia, named the candidates for positions in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The outcome: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted a draft resolution to the Verkhovna Rada on the appointment of a new Prime Minister, Yulia Sviridenko. If the decision is accepted, this will lead to personnel changes in the government, as the entire Cabinet of Ministers resigned along with the dismissal of Denys Shmyhal.Read also
