Zelensky on negotiations with the USA: Washington has defined how to end the war.
According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the constructive approach of the American side ahead of the upcoming negotiations that will soon take place to discuss the end of the war.
In his address, he noted that the Ukrainian delegation participating in the negotiations has already departed for the United States.
“The dialogue will continue based on the points from Geneva. Diplomacy remains active. The American side is showing constructiveness, and it is quite realistic to refine the steps in the coming days to determine how to honorably end the war,” Zelensky stressed.
In his opinion, the Ukrainian delegation has received all the necessary instructions for conducting the negotiations.
“I expect the guys to work according to clear Ukrainian priorities,” the president summarized.
Negotiations and updated plan
Let us remind you that on November 23, negotiations took place in Geneva between the delegations of Ukraine, the USA, and leading European countries, where a 28-point plan for ending the war was discussed.
As a result of the consultations, the sides prepared an updated framework document regarding the ceasefire in Ukraine.
On November 29, the President of Ukraine approved a new composition of the Ukrainian delegation that will engage in negotiations with the United States, other international partners, and representatives of the Russian Federation to achieve sustainable and just peace.
These negotiations are an important stage in Ukraine's efforts to end the conflict and establish peace. Hopes for constructive dialogue and support from international partners provide new opportunities to achieve the desired result in the near future.
