Zelensky met with Flexport after Russia's strike: the company denies military production.
Zelensky's meeting with the leadership of 'Flextronics'
According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of the American company 'Flextronics', which was impacted by a missile strike from Russia, the press service of the head of state reports.
The General Director of 'Flextronics Ukraine' Anna Dragun noted that due to prompt actions, more than 600 employees of the plant were saved. Unfortunately, 17 people were injured, and some of them are in the hospital.
“Our enterprise specializes exclusively in the production of civilian products and has never engaged in the production of military equipment or defense products,” emphasized Anna Dragun.
It is important for the state to restore production capacity and support affected workers. President Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone who works in Ukraine and assured that the authorities will do everything possible for the quick resumption of the enterprise’s operations.
This meeting highlights the importance of supporting Ukrainian enterprises that have faced the consequences of war. Restoring production not only helps revive the economy but also provides jobs for many Ukrainians. Supporting companies like 'Flextronics' can be an important step towards stability in the region.
