Ukrainians are already receiving the winter thousand: who received the first payments

According to ТСН: In Ukraine, payments under the "Winter Support" program have begun. The first recipients have already received a thousand hryvnias by applying through "Diya" on the day the project started.

Payments for pensioners and recipients of social benefits

The Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Denys Uliutin, reported that over 1.8 million pensioners and individuals receiving social benefits through "Ukrposhta" began to receive the "Winter Thousand" automatically, without additional applications. More than 550,000 people submitted applications independently at "Ukrposhta" branches.

Funding and next steps

As of today, the state has transferred almost 1.9 billion UAH for applications received through "Diya" on the first day of the program, November 15.

"We will inform separately about the next payment of funds,"
the minister emphasized.

Payments for the most vulnerable categories of the population

He also noted that over 230,000 applications for assistance of 6,500 UAH for the most vulnerable groups of the population have been received. The first payments under this program will start on December 10.

Additional information

Let us remind you that from November 21, the "Winter Support" 6,500 UAH program has started. This assistance is intended for Ukrainians who have suffered the most from the war or are in difficult life circumstances.

Also, on November 15, the assistance program started, which provides a one-time payment of 1,000 UAH to all Ukrainians who officially reside in the country. Money can even be received by children, and parents can apply for assistance on their behalf.

The introduced "Winter Support" program is an important step in supporting citizens who find themselves in difficult conditions due to the military conflict. Payments will help alleviate the financial burden on Ukrainian families, especially during the winter season. The next stages of the program promise even more financial support for vulnerable categories of the population.
