The winter thousand spending period ends: by what date should the funds be used.

According to ТСН: The "Winter Support" program is ongoing in Ukraine, within the framework of which many citizens have already received assistance of UAH 1,000 or UAH 6,500. Payments continue, but it is important to remember the deadlines for using the funds.

"Winter Thousand"

Citizens of Ukraine who are officially in the country can take advantage of this assistance. Applications can be submitted until December 24 through the "Diia" app or in writing at any "Ukrposhta" branch.

Funds received on the "National Cashback" card, issued through "Diia", must be spent by June 30, 2026.

Pensioners and welfare recipients through "Ukrposhta", for whom assistance was generated automatically, must use the thousand by the end of February 2026.

Let us remind you that the "winter thousand" can be used to pay for utilities and postal services, buy goods and medicines of Ukrainian production, or make donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Winter 6,500"

"Winter 6,500 UAH" is assistance for individuals who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, in particular, for children of IDPs or from low-income families under 18, first-group disabled persons, lonely pensioners, etc. Applications for this payment can only be submitted until December 17 - through "Diia" or at the Pension Fund office.

The 6,500 UAH assistance can be used within 180 days from the moment of crediting. The government emphasizes that this support is aimed at those who need it the most. These funds can be used for the purchase of clothing, footwear, medicine, and vitamins.

It is worth noting that not everyone who submitted applications received "Winter Support" funds. According to the latest data, over 13 million Ukrainians have applied for the "winter thousand" in "Diia", and more than 300,000 people for "winter 6,500". The government assures that there will be enough funds and all applications will be fulfilled in several waves.

The "Winter Support" program aims to help the most vulnerable categories of the population in difficult times, significantly supporting the financial security of these groups. It is important that citizens do not forget about the deadlines for using the proposed assistance, which will allow them to plan their expenses for necessary goods and services more effectively.
