Horrific tragedy in Kostiantynivka: girl lived with her sister's body for 7 years.
Zarina shared how she lived for seven years in a room with the corpse of her sister Darina. Their mother believed that the elder daughter was alive, and relatives and neighbors remained indifferent. Only 20 years after reporting to the police could Darina's body be retrieved from the apartment.
Horrific living conditions
According to inkorr.com: Zarina, who is now 31 years old, was born in Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. She lived with her mother and her older sister Darina, who is ten years her senior. The girls had different fathers and practically did not know them. Their mother worked at a local factory but lost her job, and the family found themselves in extreme poverty.
Psychological difficulties
Zarina recalls that after her father's death, her mother began to change, showing signs of paranoia. They lived in hardship and earned a living in unusual ways. A few years later, Darina died at the age of 22, while Zarina was only 12 at the time.
All these years, while the family endured horrific conditions, those around them remained indifferent. Neither neighbors nor relatives offered help and did not even ask what happened to Darina. Zarina's mother continued to believe that her daughter was alive and refused to seek help from specialists.
Revelation of the truth
After many years, Zarina decided to contact the police and lawyers to tell this terrible truth. She tried to support her mother and lived with memories of her childhood. An investigation into this case is currently ongoing.
This tragic story highlights the importance of attentiveness and compassion for others. The indifference of neighbors and the mother complicated Zarina's life, but fortunately, the truth came to light. The situation has caused outrage in society, and the investigation continues to clarify all the circumstances of this tragedy.
