Russia attacked Izium: the city council has been destroyed

On February 4, Russia launched an attack on Izium. A part of the city council building has been destroyed due to this strike. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The head of state noted that the rescue operation continues after the Russian missile strike on the city. A part of the city council building has been destroyed. As of now, it is known that there are casualties - 20 people were injured.

«Unfortunately, five people have died. My condolences to the relatives and friends. This cruelty cannot be reconciled with. We must pressure Russia, use the greatest forces - the force of arms, the force of sanctions, the force of diplomacy - to stop the terror and protect lives», - said the president.

We recall that Russia struck Izium. According to preliminary data, the occupiers used ballistic missiles. This was reported by Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration.

Attacks on Cherkasy region: fires and destruction of enemy drones

Also, on the night of February 4, Russia massively attacked the Cherkasy region with strike drones. The head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Igor Taburets called the night «extremely difficult». According to him, the forces and means of air defense worked on aerial targets: a total of 12 drones were destroyed in the region.

However, this had its consequences. In particular, in the regional center, as a result of enemy attacks, fires broke out in the territory of three private enterprises. In one case, the elimination is still ongoing.
