AFU showed captured occupiers who were taken prisoner a few hours ago.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold Russian military personnel captive for future exchange. This time, occupiers who participated in the destruction of Kharkiv region in 2022 were captured. Photos of the prisoners were published in the Telegram channel of the 225th Separate Assault Brigade.

The location and number of captured military personnel are not disclosed, but it is known that this brigade is currently performing combat missions in the Kursk region.

«In the spring of 2022, fighters of this regiment were destroying Kharkiv region. Now we are destroying them. We continue to work – follow the news», – the brigade reported.

Also, lieutenant of the battalion with the call sign Alex posted pictures of the prisoners on his page. He noted that the Russians were captured in Kursk.

«The first prisoners of the regular troops that Rashka deployed to stabilize the situation in KUNR (Kursk People's Republic - ed.) Several hours passed between their arrival and capture», – Alex reported.
