No Power Outages for Ukrainians on March 30: Restrictions Apply Only to Businesses.
Electricity Supply Situation in Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: On March 30, Ukrainian households will not face any scheduled blackouts. However, from 18:00 to 22:00, industrial consumers will be subject to power restrictions. This measure comes in response to the aftermath of large-scale Russian missile and drone strikes targeting energy infrastructure.
Across all regions of Ukraine, power capacity limitations will be enforced for industrial users and commercial enterprises. Additionally, a portion of Kherson’s Central District has been temporarily disconnected from the grid. These actions are designed to maintain a stable electricity supply amidst ongoing challenges.
Strategy for Ensuring Energy System Stability
Limiting power for industrial users is part of a broader strategy to safeguard Ukraine’s energy grid, particularly given external threats. This approach helps reduce strain on the network and prioritizes electricity for the general population, which remains the top concern during crisis situations.
