A new surgical block has opened in Kyiv: the number of operations will double.
Renovation and major repair of the hospital
According to ТСН: As part of the project, the hospital underwent renovation and major repair, and a modern supply and exhaust ventilation system was installed. This system ensures air purification, pressure control, and sterility. The total amount of financial assistance was over 5.3 million UAH.
New surgery block
The new part of the hospital includes a room for preoperative preparation, an operating room, and additional premises. The opening of this block will double the number of surgical interventions, which is very important in wartime conditions as the number of patients with injuries increases. In the new part, mainly minimally invasive interventions will be performed, including joint arthroscopies, which will ensure faster recovery for patients.
Grand opening
The grand opening took place the day before the Christmas holidays with the participation of representatives from the Zhebrivskyi Family Charity Foundation, Farmak company, and the leadership of the Institute. Guests had the opportunity to tour the renovated operating room and learn about the results of the project's implementation.
Every year, about 150 hospitals across Ukraine receive assistance from this foundation.
* The Zhebrivskyi Family Charity Foundation and the Farmak company are parts of the Zhebrivskyi family's activities that implement charitable and business activities.
Thanks to the implementation of this project, the hospital has not only improved conditions for patients but has also become more prepared to provide medical assistance in difficult circumstances. The opening of the new surgery block will significantly raise the level of medical services and allow doctors to respond more effectively to challenges related to the war.
