According to ТСН: In the village of Bilohrudivka, located near Kyiv, security forces used firearms to neutralize an aggressive dog that was roaming a busy street without an owner and attacked an inspector.

This was reported by the patrol police of the Kyiv region on social networks.

The report about the dangerous animal came into the hotline 112. The patrol officers, who quickly arrived at the scene of the incident, discovered an aggressive dog without a muzzle running through the street.

Search for the owner and attack

The security forces tried to determine the whereabouts of the pet owner and advised citizens to lock their doors. The owner's contact information was found, but he did not answer the phone calls.

At that moment, a woman with a child approached the patrol officers and asked for help to safely pass by the dangerous animal. When the inspector tried to escort them, the dog suddenly attacked the police officer and bit him in the leg.

Use of the weapon

Given the real threat to the life and health of the police officer and other citizens, the inspector, based on § 46 of the law of Ukraine 'On the National Police', was forced to use his service weapon to neutralize the animal.

The injured police officer sought medical assistance.
