Andriy Matyukha Foundation Created the Superheroes Club for Children of Military Personnel and IDPs.
According to ТСН: All initiatives are united under a common project - “Superheroes Club”. Every boy or girl participating in the foundation's programs truly learns to become stronger in body, mind, and spirit. Are they not real superheroes?
Initiative “Stronger Together”: Sports Accessible to Everyone
One of the main programs of the “Superheroes Club” is the “Stronger Together” initiative, which aims to support the physical development and emotional resilience of children of military personnel and internally displaced persons.
In this regard, Andriy Matyukha, together with SpartaBox club and the Physical Health Center “Sport for All,” organizes free sports sections in Kyiv.
Children aged 8 to 13 engage in football, basketball, boxing, freestyle wrestling, and combat sambo. Training takes place three times a week under the guidance of experienced coaches, among whom are Serhiy Bobyr and Renat Akhmedkhanov, sports masters with considerable experience working with youth.
All classes are funded by the foundation led by Andriy Matyukha.
“Strength in Knowledge”: An Important Initiative of Andriy Matyukha and His Team
Another significant area of the “Superheroes Club” is caring for children. For this purpose, the foundation under Andriy Matyukha's leadership has introduced the “Strength in Knowledge” program.
As part of the program, over 5500 sets of educational supplies were collected and distributed to students from vulnerable categories. Each package contained everything necessary for lessons and creative activities: notebooks, pens, paints, albums, and pencils.
Assistance was provided to children from all corners of Ukraine, especially from families of military personnel and displaced persons. All sets were free of charge, with no costs for families.
Andriy Matyukha Supports Programming Courses for Children
Another initiative of the “Superheroes Club” is courses that allow children to try their hand in the world of technology.
Previously, in partnership with Code Club Ukraine, the foundation led by Andriy Matyukha initiated programming courses - Python and Scratch. Over 600 students attended the Python training, among whom more than half were from families of military personnel and IDPs.
Classes were conducted in various formats - online and offline, in cities such as Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Poltava, Lviv, Kropyvnytskyi, Cherkasy, and even in Donetsk communities. Scratch started in 2021. It is a more playful format, allowing children to create their own animations, cartoons, and games.
The programs are divided into various levels of difficulty, and lessons last 40 minutes, which is optimal for maintaining interest and preventing fatigue.
How to Join the “Superheroes Club”?
The initiative is open to new participants. All programs are free, but the number of places is limited. To not miss the recruitment for sections or training groups, organizers recommend keeping an eye on updates on the official page of the foundation on Facebook.
Priority is given to those who truly need such support - children of military personnel and internally displaced persons.
Not Just Charity
The foundation, led by Andriy Matyukha, supports dozens of social initiatives in the fields of education, sports, and humanitarian aid. However, the “Superheroes Club” is a special story. It's about children living in war conditions but not losing their zest for life.
The foundation of this philosophy is practicality. Andriy Matyukha and his team focus on real support, accessible education, and development through sports and technology.
