Ukraine is facing record frosts: when to expect warming.
According to ТСН: On Wednesday, frost persists in Ukraine, and significant precipitation is not anticipated. The cold weather is determined by a high-pressure system.
Forecasters reported that an atmospheric front is approaching from the west, particularly in the far west of the country. In Crimea and the Sea of Azov region, a slightly warmer and moist air mass from the Black Sea is expected, resulting in light snowfalls. In some areas of Ukraine, ice formation on roads may be possible.
During the day, temperatures in most regions will fluctuate between -8 and -13°C. In Transcarpathia, southern and southwestern regions, thermometers will show between -2 and -7°C.
Weather in Kyiv
In the capital, cloudy weather with clearings is forecasted, but without significant precipitation. Ice formation on the roads is again possible.
Throughout the day in Kyiv, temperatures will fluctuate between -8 and -13°C, while in the Kyiv region – between -10 and -12°C.
According to information from ecologist Oleksandr Sokolenko, Ukraine is facing the harshest winter in 10 years. In the coming days, no relief from the frost should be expected – temperatures could become even colder. In the Kyiv region, temperatures are predicted to reach -22°C.
Currently, Ukraine is experiencing a true winter test. The severe frosts complicate life for many Ukrainians, especially in regions where significant temperature drops are expected. In such freezing conditions, it is important to be cautious on the roads and exercise care when going outside.
