Russian Voronezh and Belgorod left without electricity: consequences of the massive attack.
According to ТСН: In the evening, explosions were heard in the Russian cities bordering Ukraine. It is reported that this was an attack using missiles and drones, which led to problems with electricity supply.
According to information from local Telegram channels, an emergency was declared in the Voronezh region due to missile strikes. Shortly after this, residents heard explosions, resulting in power and water outages in some parts of the city.
Russian sources report that allegedly 17 missiles were shot down. Governor Alexander Gusev noted that one missile was destroyed on approach to the city, and its debris damaged several high-rise buildings.
Buses arrived for the evacuation of residents, and in one of the buildings, a staircase landing collapsed. The street was closed, and access to the damaged structures was prohibited.
There are also reports of a fire in an 'administrative building'.
“Additionally, due to damage to the power line, there are power outages on several streets. The debris also damaged technological elements of the heat supply networks. In a number of apartment buildings in the left-bank part of the city and in several houses in the right-bank part, a decrease in heating medium temperature may be observed,” the governor of the Voronezh region wrote on social media.
In Belgorod, a new hit on the local CHPP was also recorded. Authorities traditionally report falling debris from a drone, which damaged a private house and two cars.
Eyewitnesses report that there was a flash near the Belgorod CHPP, after which the lights went out in neighboring houses.
There were also reports of drone attacks in Kursk, including a downed drone near the city of Zheleznogorsk.
Recall that the SBU sea drones Sea Baby struck the oil tanker Dashan in the Black Sea, linked to Russia's 'shadow fleet'.
A serious escalation of the situation has occurred in the regions of Russia bordering Ukraine, including Voronezh region and Belgorod. Tensions are rising as missile strikes continue to affect civilian infrastructure. Data on attacks suggest a possible intensification of military actions in this region, and the population continues to suffer from the consequences of the conflict.Read also
