Zelensky on important negotiations: what will change for Ukraine in the coming days

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of diplomatic contacts that can influence the development of events in Ukraine.

Intensive negotiations with international partners

According to Zelensky, significant changes are possible in the coming days, as active coordination with key international partners continues.

The President also reported that he had spoken with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and intends to continue this dialogue. He stressed the effectiveness of joint actions and the consistency of positions that Ukraine is forming together with its NATO and EU partners.

“Important days, and a lot can change. We are closely coordinating, and both in our activity and in the activity of all partners, it will be the joint actions that will be extremely effective,” the president noted.

Meeting with the President of the European Commission

Zelensky also had a conversation with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. He emphasized that Ukraine and the European Commission are fully synchronized in their assessments and actions, and EU support remains stable and strategic.

During the conversation, diplomatic issues and key aspects of the agenda were discussed, on which the parties have common positions. In particular, they focused on enhancing Ukraine's resilience amid constant Russian attacks on energy and critical infrastructure.

Zelensky noted that Ursula von der Leyen takes into account Ukraine's needs and understands the importance of additional assistance to ensure energy security.

“I appreciate the readiness to help Ukraine,” the president added.

Expectations for important decisions

The Ukrainian authorities hope that active diplomatic contacts in the near future may lead to important decisions that will strengthen the defense capability and resilience of the state.

Let us remind you, negotiations between Ukraine and the USA in Miami are ongoing. The American team aims to “close all issues with Kyiv” that very day.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that the end of the war should ensure long-term security and the possibility of development for Ukraine.

Thus, Ukraine's active diplomatic efforts contribute to the formation of international support and strengthening the country's position on the global stage. In the face of constant threats from Russia, support from Western partners remains critically important for maintaining Ukraine's independence and stability.
