Shooting Incident in Rudno
According to TSN.ua: On January 14, in the village of Rudno near Lviv, a shooting occurred, fortunately resulting in no injuries. At approximately 10:00 AM, the driver of a Volkswagen Passat fired several shots at a Volkswagen Transporter vehicle belonging to military personnel.
Criminal Proceedings
Currently, a criminal case is underway under part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which stipulates responsibility for hooliganism. According to this article, the sanction may include imprisonment for a term of three to seven years. Preliminary information suggests that the shots were fired from traumatic weapons.
This incident occurred only a few days after an attack on a serviceman that took place on January 11 in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Lviv. Authorities continue to investigate the event to establish all circumstances and reasons for the shooting.
