Attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure
According to ТСН: During the missile and drone attack on Ukraine on the night of November 29, Russian troops struck the energy infrastructure of Kyiv region.
According to information from DTEK, about 70 thousand families were left without electricity due to these shellings.
The most significant outages affected Fastiv, Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Obukhiv districts.
It also became known that energy facilities in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions were affected.
As a result of the attack, more than 500 thousand consumers in Kyiv, about 100 thousand in Kyiv region, and nearly 8 thousand in Kharkiv region were left without power in the morning. Where the security situation allows, restoration work has already begun.
At night, Russia launched 36 missiles and nearly 600 drones at Ukraine.
This attack is another testimony to the ongoing attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, which have been happening for quite a while. Authorities and energy companies are working on restoring electricity supply, but the challenges they are facing remain significant. The situation in the country remains tense, and Ukrainians are once again feeling the consequences of the war in their daily lives.
