Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk condemned Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for praising Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

This was reported in a message on social media X, as reported by 'Hvylya'.

Orban continues to make controversial statements regarding Russia, calling Putin 'a honest partner' of Budapest, even amidst new massive missile strikes on Ukraine.

'On the eve of Christmas, Russia carried out a massive missile strike on Ukrainian cities. At the same Time, in a Christmas interview, Prime Minister Orban called Putin an honest partner of Hungarians...', Tusk noted.

Furthermore, he mentioned former Polish official Marcin Romanowski, suspected of corruption, who was granted political asylum by Hungary.

Orban pointed out that the ex-official even learned Hungarian to greet with Christmas wishes: Bolgot Karácsonyt ('Happy Holidays').

Previously, Zelensky and Tusk discussed strengthening Ukraine and its path to the EU.
