Budanov on the future of Russia: why Putin's death will not change the system.
Budanov on the future of Russia without Putin
Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov stated that even if the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin dies, nothing will change in the Russian Federation. According to him, Russia has a stable system capable of surviving the death of the Kremlin leader.
This was mentioned by Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with Natalia Moseichuk.
The head of the GUR noted that the Russians have a strong and stress-resistant system, so the departure of the state leader will not change anything.
'They (the Russians — Ed.) have built the system in such a way that the next successor will at least remain within that paradigm. That's at least', Budanov added.
It is worth noting that the country's chief intelligence officer explained what could lead to the disintegration of NATO and the EU. He named one possible scenario.
Budanov also revealed the Kremlin's plans until 2036. According to the intelligence officer, Russia is preparing for the most large-scale rearmament since 1980.
Additionally, the head of the GUR admitted how many attempts on his life he has survived since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation.
In his latest statement, the head of the GUR spoke about the resilience of the system in Russia even after Putin's possible death and the Kremlin's future plans, emphasizing that the authorities are preparing for significant changes in the army.
