Sumy region: massive drone attack left the city without electricity.
Massive attack on the Sumy community
According to ТСН: This evening, the Sumy community was subjected to a powerful attack by enemy drones targeting energy infrastructure facilities.
"Within half an hour, the Russians launched over a dozen strike drones at the city. Information about casualties is being clarified. Sumy has no electricity supply, part of the critical infrastructure is operating on backup power sources," the OVA reported.
Experts will only be able to start assessing damage and recovery work when the security situation allows it. Currently, an air alert continues in the region, and the threat of new attacks remains. Citizens are urged to stay in shelters or other safe places.
It should be noted that this evening a series of powerful explosions occurred in Sumy. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the movement of UAVs from Sumy to Poltava was recorded. Local public pages also informed about a massive attack by Shaheds.
This attack once again confirms the danger looming over Ukrainian cities, especially in light of the ongoing conflict. Authorities urge residents to be cautious and pay close attention to security recommendations, as the situation may worsen.
