Russia's strike on Fastiv: dozens of trains delayed across Ukraine.
According to ТСН: In the night of December 6, Russian troops struck a key railway station in Fastiv, located in the Kyiv region. This led to changes in schedules and routes, as well as delays for dozens of trains across Ukraine.
As of 08:35, information was received at the "UZ" station about the delay of more than 50 trains, some of which are delayed by six hours. In particular, this applies to international trains No. 73/74 Przemysl-Kharkiv-Pass, No. 89/90 Kyiv-Passenger-Przemysl, No. 23/24 Kyiv-Passenger-Hłob, No. 99/100 Bucharest-Nord-Kyiv-Passenger and others.
Changes in suburban train movement
This night, the RF army again attacked the railway infrastructure. As a result, changes in the movement of suburban trains have been introduced in the Kyiv region, which will last throughout the day. Several trains will not operate on their usual routes, particularly towards Slavutych, Zhytomyr, and the capital.
These events reaffirm the importance of rail transport in Ukraine, as well as the challenges the country faces in the conditions of war. Train delays can significantly impact the plans of millions of passengers who rely on rail transport for travel within the country and abroad.
