Winter does not arrive: new temperature records have been registered in Ukraine.
According to ТСН: The calendar winter is already at the doorstep, but its features are not yet felt.
This information was provided by meteorologist Ivan Semilyt from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center during the Morning.LIVE broadcast.
Weather Situation
The meteorologist noted that an atmospheric front is passing through Ukraine, which will bring minor precipitation, but over time its activity will decrease.
A cyclone from Turkey will begin to influence southern Ukraine, which may cause increased cloudiness and rain.
Temperature Indicators
The temperature remains unusually high: in the west, north, and center of the country, +1…+6°C is forecasted today, in other regions - up to +12°C, and in the south - up to +16°C. A new temperature record has already been recorded in the Mykolaiv region.
On the night of November 29, the temperature will fluctuate from +4 to -1°C, while during the day most regions will have +4…+9°C. The highest temperatures, as usual, are expected in the south, and also in certain areas of Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions - up to +12°C.
Snow Cover
Snow cover exists only in the Carpathians and amounts to only 1–3 cm.
Recall, earlier meteorologists surprised with the winter forecast for 2025–2026.
The active influence of atmospheric fronts and cyclones indicates the instability of weather conditions in the coming days. Despite the elevated temperatures, one should be prepared for sharp changes in the weather that may be accompanied by rain and cooling. The situation with snow cover does not currently require special concern, but it may change as winter approaches.
