This time not Khmelnytsky. Enemy drone approached another NPP.
On September 25, an enemy drone approached the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, reported 'Energoatom'.
It is noted that this is not the first time Russian troops have created a threat to the nuclear safety of Ukrainian NPPs. In the company's operational report, it is stated that 'Energoatom' immediately informs the relevant authorities about such cases, as the principles of nuclear and radiation safety must be strictly adhered to.
Approaching the Khmelnytsky NPP
It should be noted that previously a Russian drone had already approached the Khmelnytsky NPP. The latest similar incident occurred at night on September 22.
Russia's preparation for strikes on NPPs
There is sufficient information and evidence that Russia plans to attack three Ukrainian NPPs this fall. The President of Ukraine stated that 'if Russia is ready to go this far, it means there is nothing valuable for Moscow'.
Russian actions
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia failed to defeat Ukrainians on the battlefield, so Vladimir Putin is looking for other ways to undermine the spirit of Ukrainians. In addition, the Russians are using Chinese satellites to photograph Ukrainian NPPs, which may be a sign of preparations for attacks.
