In Kyiv and the region, power is being restored after the strike: when repairs will be completed

According to ТСН: The capital and the Kyiv region continue to recover after the massive strike on the energy system. By morning, specialists managed to promptly restore electricity supply for most consumers, but the situation with outages remained tense both in Kyiv and in the region. Repair crews are actively working to eliminate the damages.

Situation in Kyiv

By morning, energy workers managed to restore power for 550,000 families in the capital, which accounts for a significant portion of subscribers who remained without electricity due to shelling.

However, due to physical damage to equipment, some residents of the Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts remained without electricity. The company set a deadline: emergency recovery work in the city should be completed by 14:00.

Situation in the Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, energy workers are also fighting to restore electricity supply. Power has been restored to 170,000 families.

However, due to damage in high-voltage trunk networks in parts of the Bucha and Fastiv districts, emergency shutdowns had to be implemented. This measure is necessary for balancing the system and preventing overload during repairs.

Energy workers assure that they are doing everything possible to complete the work as soon as possible.

“The light holds,” they summarized briefly at DTEK.

It should be noted that two days ago Russia cut off electricity to Slavutych, as a result of which the city was completely left without power. Damage to an important energy facility led to total power outage.

Restoration of electricity supply is ongoing, and specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. This is an important step not only for returning the normal life of residents but also for ensuring the stability of the energy system of the region as a whole. The situation remains under control, and representatives of energy companies hope for a quick completion of repair work.
