Eighth mass attack on the energy system: which regions were most affected.
According to ТСН: During the night, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure in several regions. The most affected was the Odesa region, where many people were left without electricity in the morning. Energy workers quickly began to restore damaged equipment.
This is already the eighth major attack on the energy system since the beginning of the year.
In connection with this, restrictions have been introduced in all regions: outage schedules for businesses and industry, as well as hourly outages for the population.
According to the latest data, at 9:30 AM, electricity consumption was at normal seasonal levels and was practically unchanged from yesterday. However, given the load and damage to the infrastructure, Ukrainians are urged to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible.
It is recommended to shift energy-consuming processes to nighttime hours, after 11:00 PM. This will help reduce the load on the system and shorten the duration of forced outages.
Energy workers warn that the state of the energy system remains unstable and depends on the consequences of the attacks. Ukrainians are advised to monitor updates from their regional energy companies, as schedules may change throughout the day.
It is noted that there is a risk of prolonged local power outages in Ukraine, which can last up to a day or even several days. This was stated by the director of energy programs at the Razumkov Center, Volodymyr Omelchenko, noting that Russia is trying to provoke prolonged blackouts to increase pressure on the population and critical infrastructure.
These events once again confirm how vulnerable the energy system of the country is under conditions of conflict. It is important for all consumers to be prepared for possible changes in electricity supply and to follow experts' recommendations to minimize the consequences of attacks.
