Some medical workers will be deprived of reservation. The Ministry of Health has named the condition.

The Ministry of Health reports that medical workers will be unregistered at the request of the Ministry of Defense and the Command of Medical Forces. After receiving the request, the Ministry of Health will cooperate with health departments and conduct consultations, as well as compile lists of the necessary medical personnel. The organization of this process will ensure the normal functioning of medical institutions.

It is noted that applications for unregistration will be submitted by heads of medical institutions according to the procedure for reserving military personnel during mobilization and wartime. Then specialists will be mobilized to the Armed Forces or other military formations depending on their needs and appointed to positions in military service. Contracts will be concluded for one year during mobilization.

Previously, it was allowed to reserve only 50% of medical institution employees from the number of military personnel.

Also, let us remind you that the government has made a decision on complete reservation of state and municipal medical institution employees, including public health institutions, institutions conducting forensic and psychiatric examinations, and blood centers.

It should also be noted that having a deferral or reservation from mobilization does not exempt Ukrainians from the obligation to appear at the territorial recruitment center according to the summons and update their data.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws on extending the martial law period (4220-IX) and mobilization (4221-IX) until May 9, 2025.
