According to TSN.ua: Ihor Terekhov, head of the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities, has issued an urgent appeal for a special demographic support package for Ukraine's war-affected regions, citing a dire birth rate crisis. The scale of the imbalance is stark: in 2022, Ukraine recorded 168,700 births against 485,200 deaths, meaning there were roughly three deaths for every newborn.
