Arctic cold will hit Ukraine on December 24: forecaster named the temperature.
Frost forecasts for Ukraine
According to ТСН: An anticyclone forming over Scandinavia, together with the rear part of the cyclone trough from the northeast, will lead to an invasion of Arctic cold into Ukraine.
Forecaster Vitaliy Postryhan noted:
“From Wednesday, December 24, the average daily temperature will drop to 3-6º frost. The coldest days will be December 24-25 with nighttime temperatures of 5-10 frost, during the day 1-6 frost. Significant precipitation is not expected, there are chances for only a slight snow, mainly in the eastern part of the region.”
It was also reported that substantial frosts are expected by Christmas.
In particular, on December 22, significant precipitation is not expected in Ukraine, only light precipitation in the form of drizzle may occur in some regions. The daytime temperature in most regions will remain around 0°C, while in the south, thermometers will show +3…+8°С.
As the Arctic cold approaches, Ukrainians can prepare for a significant drop in temperature. Forecasts indicate that the weather in the coming days will be quite severe, with light snowfalls in some regions. So it is worth paying attention to temperature fluctuations to be ready for frosty conditions.
