Fire at the 'Elma' technopark in Moscow
In the capital of Russia, during a nighttime drone attack, a fire broke out at the 'Elma' technopark in Zelenograd. This area is one of the 12 administrative districts of Moscow.
Eyewitnesses on social media shared video footage showing the situation in Zelenograd and drones in the sky over the city. The video shows how air defense systems are operating and the consequences left after the attack.
The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, noted that as a result of the 'repelling of the attack' by drones in Zelenograd, no 'serious damage or injuries' were recorded. Specialists are currently working at the site of the debris falling.
The 'Elma' technopark, where the fire occurred, covers an area of 60 thousand square meters and specializes in the production of electronics, measuring instruments, optical equipment, and information technologies.
Drone attacks in Moscow
This is not the first case of drone attacks on facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region. Earlier, drones repeatedly attacked military and industrial facilities on the territory of Russia.
