Kozlovskyi's wife on the night shelling: My son woke up and said 'Shahed'

According to ТСН: The wife of Ukrainian singer Vitalii Kozlovskyi, Yulia Bakumenko, was shocked by her son's reaction to the arrival of an enemy 'Shahed' near their home.

On the night of January 5, Russia shelled Kyiv, and unfortunately, one of the strikes could not avoid hits. One of them occurred in the Obolon district of the capital, where the Kozlovskyi family lives.

Yulia woke up to the sound of a passing 'Shahed' and immediately covered Oskar's ears so he wouldn't hear. However, the boy eventually woke up and realized that an explosion had occurred.

In the morning after the shelling, little Oskar curiously watched the debris being cleared. Yulia notes that children have to live in horrific conditions.

'Oskar couldn't be taken away; he watched how they clear the rubble. The smell of smoke is strongly noticeable. At night, I woke up to the sound of 'Shahed' gaining speed. I barely managed to cover the child's ears with my hands so he wouldn't wake up, and then it went boom. He opened his eyes, said: 'Shahed'. A house collapsed somewhere nearby.' And he fell asleep again, realities,' Yulia shared.

Also, singer Lavika previously reported about an enemy strike near her home, recounting the horrifying moments her family experienced.

The situation in Ukraine remains horrific, as shelling continues, and local residents, including children, are forced to adapt to new realities. The feeling of danger accompanies them daily, and testimonies like those of Yulia and Lavika remind us of the precious moments of safety that have now become a rarity.
