Death of a man during a TCC chase: what happened in the Kirovohrad region.
According to ТСН: The tragedy occurred in the Kirovohrad region: 49-year-old Oleksandr Chvalko died in the hospital after a traffic accident that happened while he was trying to avoid contact with military recruiters.
Details of the incident
It all happened in the village of Novyi Starodub when Oleksandr was riding down a narrow alley on a moped. According to local residents, a white Renault Duster was chasing him.
Relatives and witnesses claim that at the moment of the collision, the car was already damaged.
“Villagers saw the moment of the collision and also noted that the car had signs of damage. According to the victim's sister Iryna, the car was civilian, and the people were in camouflage.”
Official reaction from the TCC
The Kirovohrad regional TCC and SP denied the allegations of intentional collision, stating that Oleksandr injured himself while trying to escape.
“A resident of the village of Novyi Starodub tried to escape in his personal vehicle, lost control, and collided with a metal fence.”
TCC representatives emphasized that the military personnel of the notification group acted in good faith and provided necessary assistance to the victim. They called on the public not to spread unverified information that could discredit the Armed Forces, and reminded about the importance of adhering to legal requirements during martial law.
Other incidents
In addition, an incident is reported in Dnipro, where a local man attacked military personnel with a knife while they were performing their duties. Two soldiers were injured and hospitalized.
To detain the attacker, one of the soldiers fired several shots into the air. The police are involved in investigating this incident and determining the legal qualification of the attacker's actions.
This tragic case highlights the tension and danger faced by both civilians and military personnel during martial law. All participants in the events continue to need proper support and protection, as safety in the country remains a priority.
