One of the most popular projects on the Netflix platform is the second season of the 'Squid Game' series, which has reached a record in views, gathering over 152 million views. The show remains popular and maintains its leadership in the ratings, reports Variety.
The premiere of the second season took place on December 26. In four days, the show accumulated a record 68 million views, which is the highest result for a series on Netflix. By the 11th day of release, the number of views increased to 126.2 million.
The second season includes 7 episodes, which are available with Ukrainian dubbing. This part of the plot focuses on the character of Seong Gi-hun, played by actor Lee Jung-jae. After winning the previous games, he decides to return to the deadly arena to save new participants and take revenge on the organizers. From the trailers, it is clear that viewers are expecting tense moments.
The popularity of the second season has led to an increase in interest in the first season, which has climbed to second place in the ratings, gathering 13.6 million views over the week.
It is worth noting that the first season received six Emmy awards, including for the lead role of Lee Jung-jae. Additionally, Netflix released a reality show based on the series in which 456 participants competed for the grand prize of 4.56 million dollars.
