The community near Chernihiv helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine by turning off street lighting: what is the secret.


Starting May 1, 2025, street lighting will be turned off in the Kyii community near Chernihiv. The village council informs about this on its Facebook page, citing the decree of the village head. The authorities plan to use the saved funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law to promote the development of volunteering among students. The law provides that volunteering helps young people develop skills and gain practical experience that is useful not only for entering universities but also for future employment.
