In a statement by the group "Hezbollah", it was stated that their leader Hassan Nasrallah had died. The statement reads: "His Excellency Said Hassan Nasrallah, master of resistance, righteous servant, has passed to his Lord and is satisfied with Him as a great martyr, heroic, brave, bold, wise, insightful, and loyal leader."
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also officially confirmed the elimination of Nasrallah, stating: "Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world."
In its statement, HAMAS noted that the killing of Nasrallah would only strengthen the resistance. The Hezbollah channel "Al-Manar" started broadcasting verses from the Quran after announcing the martyrdom of the leader.
Strike on "Hezbollah" headquarters in Beirut
On September 27, a massive strike by the Israeli army on the "Hezbollah" headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut took place. According to the Ministry of Health of Lebanon, at least two people were killed and 76 were injured as a result of the strikes.
Previously, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei convened an emergency meeting of the Supreme National Security Council in response to this strike.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at the UN General Assembly shortly before the strike, emphasized the necessity of defeating "Hezbollah" for Israel's survival.
