Iran Strikes Israel with Ballistic Missiles: Impacts Near Nuclear Site and in Tel Aviv.
Iran's Missile Attacks: Latest Developments
According to TSN.ua: Iran launched ballistic missiles targeting multiple Israeli cities, including Hadera, Tel Aviv, and Dimona. In Hadera, a strike occurred near a power plant. Tel Aviv saw significant damage and injuries from the assault, with missiles or their fragments hitting several neighborhoods, damaging residential buildings, vehicles, and urban infrastructure.
Several people were injured, most with minor wounds. Iran also fired ballistic missiles at Dimona, home to Israel's primary nuclear facility. Dozens of people were hurt in these attacks. However, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported no damage to the nuclear site and no increase in radiation levels following the strikes.
Conflict Intensifies
These missile strikes mark a major escalation in the long-standing tensions between Iran and Israel, fueled by Iran's nuclear program and its support for various armed groups across the region. Targeting strategic Israeli cities, particularly Dimona with its sensitive installations, signals a potential shift in Iran's tactics, raising new security concerns for the area.
