Iran Rejects U.S. Talks, Vows to Fight a Protracted War.
Iran's Stance: No Negotiations, a Long War Possible
According to TSN.ua: Iran has declared it will not engage in talks with the United States and is prepared for a prolonged military conflict in the Middle East. Senior aide to the Supreme Leader, Mohammad Mohber, stated that Iran has no intention of entering into dialogue with the American side. He emphasized that Iran is ready to sustain military operations for as long as necessary.
This refusal to negotiate comes amid a tense regional standoff. Concurrently, U.S. President Donald Trump noted that American and Israeli actions against Iran could continue for approximately four weeks. U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries also pointed to the possibility that military action concerning Iran might extend for several weeks. Contradicting Iran's public position, Trump asserted,
"Tehran wants to talk"—a statement highlighting the deep disconnect and high stakes between the two nations.
Escalating Tensions in the Middle East
The situation in the Middle East remains dangerously tense, with the positions of both sides now clearly defined:
- Iran is prepared for a long-term military confrontation;
- The United States and Israel plan to continue their operations.
With Iran's refusal to engage in dialogue, the risk of the conflict escalating is increasing. This could have serious consequences not only for regional stability but also for global security, potentially reshaping geopolitical alliances among major world powers involved in the Middle East.
